First quarter tradeshows prove beneficial
Brown Medical Industries tradeshow schedule was busy in the first quarter of 2009. In addition to Arab Health, BMI networked with professionals at the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS) meeting in Las Vegas, the Health Industry Distributors Association (HIDA) Executive Business Conference in Dallas, the Efficient Collaborative Retail Marketing (ECRM) Home Health Care event in Chicago, and the Medtrade Spring show in Las Vegas.
The AAOS show drew orthopedic surgeons from across the United States and around the world. BMI sales managers had one on one time to meet with current customers to discuss sales and programs while introducing the BMI product lines to potential customers as well. At the HIDA Executive Business Conference, BMI had face to face meetings with high level executives and buyers in med-surg distribution. The Executive Business Conference proved to be a valuable networking experience for both BMI and distributors in the industry. At ECRM Home Health Care, BMI sales managers met with over fifty buyers in the retail chain drug/mass merchandise market. This event allowed BMI to showcase retail packaged products and corresponding promotional programs, while continuing to build on past success in the retail sector. At Medtrade Spring, independent pharmacy and DME storeowners perused BMIs product line, with a focus on not just reimbursable products but cash items as well.
The first three months of 2009 provided ample opportunity to connect with customers. It was a productive quarter for Brown Medical Industries!
